My Review of Rare's Delta 8 Disposable - Banana Runtz
After not seeing any reviews for this product online, I took it upon myself to try out a Rare Delta 8 Disposable and give you my honest two cents on what I
thought of the product.
Flavor Profile: 6/10
In terms of flavor I found Rare to be about inline with the industry standard for Delta 8 Disposables. I chose the strain "Banana Runtz" and was greeted with a sweet and in your face artificial banana flavor, not unpleasant but a bit to strong for my liking. Additionally, the aftertaste leaves a sickly banana flavor in your mouth. Overall, not the best or the worst terp profile I have experienced with in terms of disposable vapes.
Effects and Potency: 8/10
This pen definitely works as well as the next delta 8 disposable. I would compare the potency to that of the brand Cake. A level headed buzz that is perfect for going about your work day, studying, or simply relaxing. Remember, delta-8 has relatively mild effects when compared to similar compounds like delta 9 or delta 11, so don't get too excited before using this product.
Packaging: 5/10
The packaging for the Rare Delta 8 disposable was similar to what you would get from a disposable vape. Simple cardboard packaging with a sealed plastic bag inside. I value when companies make steps to use sustainable packaging techniques and could frankly care less about the "unboxing experience"
Cost: 5/10
At a price point of $25 I would expect more from this product, the flavor is relatively gross and it gives you a dry cough after hitting it. The effects are there, so Rare makes up for its shortcomings in that department. At a similar price you could be buying one of Lifted Mades Urb disposables which provides a more potent hit, lasts longer, and tastes better.
Overall: 6/10
I found the Banana Runtz Rare Delta 8 disposable to be an overpriced product that does little to improve on what is already on the market. I personally would not purchase this product again.
